Giving Back This Season
There are so many ways of getting involved this holiday season to spread holiday joy. Whether it’s participating in a food drive or volunteering time at a shelter, there is no act of giving deemed as too small. This holiday season, we encourage everyone to seek organizations who are giving back to those in need. If you haven’t found an organization yet, Project T.O.U.C.H. of Temecula is hosting its 2nd Annual Turkey Trot benefiting their homeless prevention program.
Project T.O.U.C.H. is a non-profit organization that works with homeless, under resourced or at risk individuals in pursuit of ending their homeless status. The Christian based organization currently houses about 170 people, 45-50 of them being children. With the help of surrounding businesses, health professionals and volunteers, Project T.O.U.C.H. strives to restore people’s lives by working on their spirit, mind, body and soul.
This month, Project T.O.U.C.H. is seeking volunteers, donations and participants to enroll in their 2nd Annual Turkey Trot. The untimed 5k run/walk is a great way for people of all ages to get involved in the pursuit of helping raise funds for the homeless. For those not interested in running or walking, two one hour long Yoga sessions will also be offered with Michelle Trabelsi, creator of Bootie Camp Yoga. To register for the 2nd Annual Turkey Trot or for more information regarding Project T.O.U.C.H., please visit www.projecttouchonline.com or contact email@example.com.
