Are Your Tires Covered For Road Hazard Damage?

Although Mercedes-Benz approved tires are built to exacting standards, they are not immune to road hazard damage. Road hazard damage occurs when a tire fails as a result of an impact, puncture or bruise in the course of normal driving.

Potholes, nails, glass, and metal objects are the most common examples of road hazards. These types of road hazards are not covered under the tire manufacturers’ warranties, which is why Mercedes-Benz of Temecula offers its guests a 2-year complimentary road hazard coverage with the purchase of any Mercedes-Benz approved tires.

In the first 12 months of Road Hazard Tire Protection, tire replacements are covered at 100% of the replacement cost of the original tire up to a maximum of $550 per tire. During the second 12 months, coverage is 50% of replacement cost, not to exceed the original purchase price of the tire.

Mercedes-Benz of Temecula will follow its puncture repair procedures to determine if your tire should be repaired at no expense, or if replacement is needed.
