San Diego:

Chinese New Year Food and Cultural Fair

Celebrate the year of the Goat (or Ram) at the Chinese New Year Food and Cultural Fair, February 21-22 at 3rd and J Street Downtown. The two-day fair is full of fun-filled activities, including lion dancers, martial arts demonstrations and acrobatics, children’s crafts, lantern parade, and a wide variety of Chinese and Asian food booths.

10th Annual San Diego Tet Festival – February 20-22, 2015 – Mira Mesa Community Park

This year, the festival will include the Miss Vietnam San Diego Pageant, Vietnamese Food, Kid’s Spotlight Contest, Lion Dancing, Carnival Rides and Games, a Beer Garden, Live Entertainment, and Ao Dai Fashion Shows. Definitely a cultural experience you won’t want to miss!

Orange County:

Tet Festival 2015 – Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival – February 20-22, 2015

OC’s Tet Festival attracts over 100,000 guests annually and caters hundreds of booths in a span of three days. Enjoy a beautiful array of traditional foods, live entertainment, festive games and a spectacular firecracker show.

Los Angeles:

Golden Dragon Parade & Chinese New Year Festival – Saturday February 21, 2015 from 1-3 p.m.

One of LA’s oldest traditions is the annual Chinese New Year parade in Downtown’s Chinatown. This two-day festival brings multi-stage acts from kung fu demonstrations to traditional music acts. Celebrate with food trucks, ping pong, and craft beer. Families can enjoy children-friendly activities such as face-painting, storytelling, and paper folding.
